Bible clubs and senior fun chapel (why in the world do I take so many pictures??????)

Well, Missions Conference week started out with a brisk morning with pretty colors painting the sky to the South.
Dr. Hantz Bernard, (who is the director of Bibles International of Grand Rapids, Michigan) Started out. He was born and raised in Haiti actually and has quite the sense of humor, he was great fun to liste to. I believe we have at least one or two more sessions with him which should be fun. :) Next was Mr. Thomson with Tentmakers Bible Missions, and then Mr. Neuman (at least I think that's his name I can't remember exactly) The special music for today was Anna, Angie and Christiana who sang a song (Can't remember the name) After a delicious lunch of tacos we had choir practice. So choir will be first thing for the session tonight. I will hopefully try and keep you a bit updated as the week goes on. Now for some pics of the last several weeks:

These are fun times. This was the first day I went to The Pringle Bible club and took, uh, 480 pictures. :) No I haven't put them all up here, but these are my favorites. :)
The lovely and patient model, Bethany

Bethany feeling, uh, tired of pictures maybe?? :P

Justin demonstrating that chairs do not stand up on their own very well this way...

So Jeremiah had to try it just to see if it were so (he was being a good Berean! :P)

I'm making up most of this commentary because it seems to fit :P

I love this set of pictures
They turned out quite well if I do so say myself :)

My fave

The lovely Bethany
I love how these turned out!

this one is maybe my favorite

A friendly hound wandering the streets...

A familiar song
It always reminds me of Good News Club and Mrs. VanHorn :)

Jeremiah teaching about the life of Paul

playing some sort of game, I can't remember which

would be a cool picture if the kids didn't look so concerned, and transition lenses can be so frustrating when working on pictures, it's just as bad as sunglasses really :P

You can't catch me! I'm the gingerbread man!

wiped-out-ness

another fave :)
This is Tori

spinning!

More spinning, the kids loved this...

A battle of the wills... :P

red light green light with hangars in your back pockets...

grrrr!!!! transitions! :P

cute but funny! another fave

yet another fave
do you think I should go into photography? (not.) =P

me and Tori, with, guess what? transitions!

David with a chicken

Darren

Mrs. Charles

AND...
senior fun chapel
which has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with chapel :P
So, basically, the seniors (and one freshman) dressed up as staff and the staff took their places
here they are, one of the first things they did was to open the laptops and get them booted up

Stephen (Mr. Friesen) and Doug (Mr. Shively)
"You're just not getting, not getting through to these kids! You've gotta come up with some new illustrations! I gotta tell you some of them you have are pretty lame!")

So "Mr. Shively comes up with some new illustrations. The first thing he does in class is pass out some "thinking caps"
Mrs. Charles and Mr. Baxter

Mr. Friesen (Stephen) in the way back then Mrs. Shively and Mr. Shively

HAHA Mr. Shively (Doug)

Anyway, long story short... a few people got baptized

Then came second hour: Discipleship with Mr. Friesen

"Turn to page 1,354, subheading nine, paragraph eleven, line fourteen
memorize ALL of it!

then Stephen is called to Mr. Friesen's office....

Next is chapel. of which I also have no pictures where Stephen (Mr. Friesen) leads the songleading and our lovely piano player (Keith) sits on top of a couple of hymnbooks

Then was third hour: Mr. Townsend (Andrew, the only Junior)
And he had his pinky on his left hand taped up and demonstrated with (you remember that chicken from the picture earlier?) that and a gun exactly what happened.
After that he launched into a lengthy discussion about ducks and pond scum

And lastly was fourth hour: Music Fundamentals with Mrs. Charles (Celeste)
note how dramatic Mrs. Charles is and how unethusiastic Mr. Shively is

during this class period Mr. Shively fell asleep and Mrs. Shivley pulled out a comb and combed her hair. The staff were simply amazing.

And there was the last class
Writing and Research with Mrs. Townsend (Bekah)

lol :)

This is one of many Keith-isms that have shown up in our class room. None of them have ever made much more sense than this one...
especially since this was written on a Monday?

Abby in her getup she used for her hymn story

Marsha!! :)

Hockey. On he basketball court. Guys... :P
Keith, Jeremiah, Joseph, and Kenton

A game of catch which I soon afterward joined

more hockey
I think Rach took these pics

They gys said they were cold so James went and got a blanket so the guys all huddled together

While the girls sat across the table and watched.
Actually dinner that night was very interesting shortly before this pic was taken not another person could have fit on that table. Al guys on one side, and all girls on the other. So the interrogations began. From the guys: "Who is the best cook?" and "Who has the most guns?" and from the girls: "Who can cook?" and "Who can do laundry?"

Angie and Claudia :)

you can get some interesting pictures from basketball
